Travelling across Europe alone, getting robbed on day four, and choosing to keep going was the moment I stopped looking for a comfort zone. Solo travel took away my need for perfection and replaced it with resilience.

It taught me how to live lighter, not just with a smaller backpack, but with fewer fears. It showed me how to breathe through the uncertainty the same way I breathe through a difficult yoga pose. I learned that when you lose your way, you usually find a better version of yourself: one that is softer, freer, and finally, more alive.

I’ve paddled through the waters of Peru, Indonesia, and Morocco, and the ocean has taught me a patience I never found on land. After an accident that left me with stitches and a scar, I learned the ultimate lesson: you cannot force the sea. You have to adapt, wait and when the right moment finally peaks, you go for it with everything you have.
LIFE IS NO DIFFERENT.
hello again, I am Sára
the ocean was the second one.
hello again, I am Sára
the ocean was my second teacher.

LIFE IS NO DIFFERENT.
hey there, it’s me again
and yoga changed my map.
It started in Rishikesh, when I traded my dream of a corporate career for a yoga mat and a 200-hour yoga teacher training. Yoga didn’t just change my body, it changed my mind. Beyond the poses, it gave me a creative fire and a clarity I never had before. Through yoga, I learned that freedom isn’t just about where you go, but how you feel inside.

Waves & Within was born from all of this.
From all those train rides, the wipeouts, the early mornings on a yoga mat.
It is a space for people who feel that pull towards something more.
More freedom, more depth, more life. Whether you are curious about surf, yoga, travel,
or simply want to feel less alone in your own journey, you are in the right place.
This is not about having it all figured out. It is about going anyway.
Currently, you can find me somewhere between two waves, a yoga mat still warm, a chai going cold, and a sunrise I refused to miss.
